Free Will

I think that some people have free will but some people don't. Some people are ruled by kings and queens that say what they can or cant do, and some people are ruled by dictators that make them do things. I think this because dictators are the worst rulers because what they want they get, also kings and queens have power but not all the power.

What would i change about the school

One thing i would change is how long the day is. I would shorten the school day and each of its classes by an hour. I would also add a "nap time" because when you are in kindergarten you don't ever use nap time but when your in 8th grade you are almost always tired. Lastly I would change the food to food that is actually good. I believe that with these changes the students would still be ready and prepared for high school.

Reflection

I think my discussion was OK. My group used facts and reasons to support our opinion. My group did well with facts. We stayed on topic and involved the class. We could have been louder and that would have made it better. I did like the assignment as much as just writing an essay, but it was different. It was really easy to stand up there because you weren't the only one talking people in the class had to talk also.

Japan's earthquake

Recently a 9.0 earthquake hit Japan. There as much devastation and sadness there. around 20,000 were estimated dead and more than 100,000 in shelters. Scientists were confused because younger tectonic plates should create bigger quakes because they were harder to push to the center of the Earth, but the plate that produced the 9.0 quake in Japan was one of the oldest plates.
Also scientists know that there are some unknown faults that could create earthquakes. There could be thousands of faults that could produce deadly earthquakes. Not only are some of the faults unknown some are also underestimated. Some are expected to make lower quakes like 1.0 to 3.0 but they can actually produce up to 7.0 or something higher.

Chuck Norris

Many of you know Chuck Norris. You may know him for his jokes. Chuck Norris jokes are imposable tasks that people say Chuck Norris has accomplished. One such joke is, Chuck Norris can slam a revolving door, or They saw Chuck Norris' tears can cure cancer, too bad Chuck Norris doesn't cry. Others may know him because he stared in may movies and TV series. One show he was in was Walker Texas Ranger. His part in the show was the deputy back in the old west. But anyways back to what I was saying before, many of you know him for this reason or that but me, I know him because he's my dad.

Can human beings ever be truly equal?

I believe that no human beings cannot be equal. If everyone were equal then someone who was smarter would have to become less smart. Someone who was more athletic would have to become less athletic. Making someone less smart or athletic isn't truly fair and that's why I think that no, human beings can never be truly equal.

Super Human Power

If I could pick one super human power I would pick the power of any power I want. I would choose this because then I could have any power and I wouldn't have to choose one. Also I would be ready for anything to happen if I had any power.The powers would be anywhere from being invisible to being super fast to being able to see through things.
