Thesis of historical book
My book is about The Battle of Gettysburg. It is about everything in it like the weapons of the battle and people that were in it. I am going to have two characters that are soldiers in the war. It is going to take place in Gettysburg. The conflict in the story is going to be the soldiers trying not to get killed in the battle, and also the one seeing his wife. Another conflict is going to be that the two soldiers don't really like each other but they are put together. The soldiers want to help end the war before too many people die. The only problem is, the soldiers has to finish out the war before they can leave, and before the one can see his wife.

What if the two soldiers in your story were from opposite sides? Maybe they are forced to work together to survive? One of them, you've already decided, wants to survive to see his wife again. What does the other soldier have to live for?
